Welcome to my large 19th Century apartment located in the historical center of beautiful Verona, near Juliette's House, Piazza Erbe, and Ponte Pietra.
The name Le Flaneur evokes slow voyages, where the impulse comes exclusively from the desire to experience places steeped in their veracity and authenticity. And I genuinely welcome you, family-style, with the timeless traditions of bed and breakfasts.
As a Verona-born resident, I will be pleased to spend time with you, answering your questions, introducing you to our rites and habits and present the experiences we created for our guests.
I look forward to helping you discover your Verona!
A flaneur is a literary character that has become the symbol of those who know the art of traveling. A flaneur, or a flâneuse, takes the time to stop and observe the little details of urban life; immerses themselves in places until they know them better than even those who live there.
Since we opened our B&B, our desire has been to aid our guests to live the life of a flaneur with experiences that bring them closer to the daily life in Verona, the city we love deeply and that we have never stopped learning about.
Veronica is a delightful host full of valuable local knowledge. The apartment is beautifully furnished, comfortable, well sized and quiet. The location is perfect-walking distance to all the sites. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We traveled with a 7 and 9 yr old and a grandfather and we were all very comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend.
Veronica is evidently passionate about her home town, Verona and provided us with good information and tips. The rooms are beautiful, in an Art Deco style, with good attention to detail. She served a fantastic breakfast with fresh Veronese pastries. Not in the center of the tourist area, but actually very close, next to the river. I have been to Verona a number of times, but shall definitely stay with Veronica in future.
We loved everything there (the location, the rooms, breakfast, advice on where to eat and what to see, etc.) but were delighted by little details Veronica thought about in her apartment: the towels of different colour for every person not to be mixed, the automatic lights on the floor, the umbrellas, fragrance to sample, the info notes and books and cold water and many others! Finally, the Internet speed was the best in Italy!!! ;-) All in all, it was a perfect stay in Verona!
Very easy to find. Underground parking is in front of the house. The location is the best that can be. Quiet, but at the same time you can walk to the center of Verona for a 5 minutes. It was the private room with own bathroom in the big apartment. The room is very cozy, comfortable, with spectacular views from the window. I would also like to gratitude Veronica, hostess of our place. You are awesome, hospitable, cheerful and bright person who did everything to make us feel at home.
Le Flaneur is located in an area of the city that remains authentic, just a short walk from Giardino Giusti and from the symbols of the ancient city, like Ponte Pietra and the Roman Theater. Here you can meet people from Verona who love coffee, trattorias, and the fruit and vegetable markets.
It is an area where new activities inspired by art, design, and flavorful cuisine are always appearing. There are vintage clothing and furniture shops, art and photography galleries, chocolate and ice cream shops, independent bookstores, and a perfume atelier.
Ponte Pietra (Roman bridge) is 3 minutes away along the river
Roman Theater is 5 minutes away among the shops
Giardino Giusti is 6 minutes away among the shops
